Confined Space Rescue (CSR)

Class Description

This program deals primarily with rescues involving confined spaces. Subjects include definition, regulations, identification, needs, psychology, and techniques. Practical application of rescue techniques are practiced in real confined spaces.

Prerequisite: ELIS or equivalent discipline-specific training in occupational safety

Class Limit: 30 Students

Student Needs: Pen/pencil, notebook, hard hat or helmet, work boots (steel toe preferred), eye protection, gloves, appropriate work clothes and SCBA

Con-Ed Hours: 6.5 Hours Clinical Patient Care & 1 Hour Other
